We do not know what is best for every community in California. We do know billions of dollars are headed to those communities.
What
Build a State-Wide Coalition
We are asking groups that meet two criteria. Environmental justice is a priority for them. They believe disadvantaged communities should benefit first from the clean-economy transition. The proposition is simple. Money that is for us should come through us and to us.
Why
Our Communities Can't Wait
Billions are available right now for environmental justice projects in Black and Latino communities. The allocation process is still being written. Groups already doing the work should be the ones receiving it.
